Kevin & Candice Parks
Deacon & Curriculum Director
Deacon Kevin is an Atlanta native and Deaconess Candice is a native of Charleston, SC but she was raised in Atlanta, GA. The Parks were married on April 9th, 2005 and are the blessed, committed, and grateful parents of boy/girl twins. Kevin is a Veteran of the United States Army and currently employed with Emory University. Candice is an Alumni of Savannah State University, holds a B.S. Degree in Biology, and has been in the Clinical Research arena for over 20 years.
Both were raised by God fearing parents and taught to keep God first. Although they each accepted Christ at a young age, they began their Christian walk as one at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Atlanta, GA under the leadership of Pastor Carl H. Moncrieff, Sr. They continued to grow and develop a deeper understanding of what it means to truly follow Christ as they matured in the word.
The Parks became dedicated members of Living Word Church Ministries on Sunday, April 5th, 2009. Joining LWCM has provided continued opportunities for God’s planted gifts to grow in each of them as leaders, servants, and givers. The Parks are also currently serving as members of the LWCM Board of Directors and the Deacon Ministry where Kevin was the first ordained Deacon at LWCM.
